On saturday October 13, 2018. Matthew made his debut for the Republic FC as the youngest player in the club history.
The 15 year old was signed through the make a wish foundation on a one game contract.
Within a minute of the game, Matthew scored his first career goal against LAS VEGAS LIGHTS FC earning himself a USL player of the week spot.
