LA GALAXY sends a statement to all MLS teams by hammering Sporting KC 7-2 at the Dignity Health Sports Park.
The victory saw LA GALAXY move up to 5th place just one point below Real Salt Lake.
Despite Galaxy hanging by the thread to make it to playoffs, the 7 goals and the team performance gave LA GALAXY's head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto hope for the playoffs. Coach Guillermo added that the team need to win their match against Montreal as well as trying to win as many of the 4 left matches.
As the battle for the golden boots continues, Zlatan Ibrahimovic closed the gab between him and Carlos Vela of Los Angeles Football Club by getting a hat-trick in the 7-2 victory.
