ACFC gets their first loss at the Banc Of California Stadium

Angel City Football Club lost to Orlando Pride on Mothers' Day infront of 17000+ fans at the Banc Of California on May 8th, 2022.

Sydney Leroux gifted her team a goal 3 minutes into the game, scoring the only goal for the match.

The intense match had ACFC on their heels trying a come back in the earlier moments of the game but Orlando was able to contain the pressure until second half.

The home team were back to equalize if not win in the second half with a stats of 7 shots and 3 shots on target compared to Orlando's 4 shots. The highlight of the match was when Christen Press connected a through ball to Endo who tried to set up Lussi but that was blocked by Orlando Pride's Mcleod Erin.
