Chicho Arango's return to the Bank ended in disappointment as his side were dispatched 4-0 in front of a capacity crowd of 17,000 at BMO Stadium. Despite the result, Arango was welcomed warmly and given a Champions ring as a mark of recognition.

The RSL coach acknowledged that the game was ultimately about moments, and lamented that his team’s momentum quickly evaporated after they conceded the goals. LAFC capitalized on this and secured the result.

LAFC now set their sights on Monterey, a highly experienced outfit according to Steve Cherundolo. The encounter will take place at the Rose Bowl on Friday, August 11th at 7:30pm.
