The 2024 Golden League boys' soccer season is shaping up to be highly competitive and action-packed. Several teams are vying for supremacy. Palmdale, Littlerock, and Knight are currently locked in a fierce battle at the top of the standings, showcasing the league's talent and depth.

Palmdale and Littlerock are atop the league table, each boasting a 5-1 record. Palmdale edges ahead in overall performance with a 5-2-1 record, driven by an impressive offensive output of 22 goals scored. Littlerock has shown a robust defense, conceding only five goals across all matches.

Knight trails closely with a 4-1-1 record, demonstrating their ability to stay competitive with a balanced approach. Eastside also remains a contender with a 4-2 record, showing their resilience and potential to challenge the top teams. Highland and Quartz Hill occupy the middle of the table, striving for consistency. Antelope Valley and Lancaster are currently rebuilding and fighting to improve their positions.

The league's competitive nature is further exemplified by the exceptional individual performances of its players.



  • Randy Avalos (Palmdale): The league's standout performer, Avalos leads the pack with 20 points, including eight goals and four assists. His dynamic play has been instrumental in Palmdale's dominance.

  • Adrian Villafranco (Littlerock): Villafranco follows closely with 16 points, scoring six goals and showcasing his prowess as a reliable striker for Littlerock.

  • Brandon Valdivia (Palmdale): He is not far behind with 13 points, scoring five goals and three assists. He is a player to watch for the remainder of the season!

  • Tommy Vaquerano (Knight): Vaquerano has proven himself a playmaker, leading the league with five assists and setting up crucial goals for Knight.

  • Alexander Zamudio (Quartz Hill) stands out with 23 saves. He provides his team with a solid foundation in goal and demonstrates his ability to be a top goalkeeper in the league. He is a true leader for Quartz Hill.

  • Nelson Flores (Littlerock) is the goalkeeper leader in goals against average, currently at 0.502. His consistent playmaking skills will determine Littlerock's season success, as competition will only get more challenging. His teammates will depend on his goalkeeping skills.
