Gor Mahia will clash against their longtime rivals AFC Leopards at Nyayo Stadium in the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby on Sunday, April 21st.

"Who Will Reign Victorious in the Highly Anticipated Mashemeji Derby: Gor Mahia or AFC Leopards?"

The match was rescheduled to the 21st as the venue will be utilized for the Kipkeino Classic Marathon on Saturday, April 20th.

In the 94 matches they have played, Gor has emerged victorious the most, winning 32 times and scoring the most goals at 91.

Gor Mahia has released tickets for Sunday's match, priced at 300 for terrace seats and 1000 for VIP. Tickets will be available on match day starting at 7 AM at the following locations:

1. Kenya Cinema (CBD)

2. Nairobi City Stadium

3. Riadha House

4. Outside Nyayo Police Post Main Gate

AFC Leopards' head coach, Trucha, is anticipating a thrilling game as this will be his first Mashemeji Derby as.

You don't need to motivate players too much for this game. It's a big one,

"Everyone is prepared, the mood is good. It's always motivating by itself. You don't need to motivate players too much for this game. It's a big one, not only in Kenya but in Africa as well. So, for me, it's the first time. Therefore, it's about tactical, physical, and mental preparation," Trucha said during an interview.

Trucha added that the Derby has no clear favorite, and the winner is never known until the final whistle. He is also looking forward to seeing the fan base from both teams.

"The Derby never has a favorite team. There are no underdogs or favorites. Come in numbers. I believe they will come and fill the stadium. I also expect the opponent's fans to come, so I anticipate a nice crowd," he added.

Last weekend, Gor emerged victorious with back-to-back wins, defeating Nzoia Sugar 3-1, while AFC Leopards won 1-0 against Post Rangers at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos
