The LA Galaxy host their crosstown rivals LAFC this Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Park, 1:30pm; this may be the Galaxy's chance to break the streak of no wins since the beginning of the 2023 regular season. However, with the boycott from their supporters due to their demands for LA Galaxy president Chris Klein to step aside not being met, as well as Javier Hernandez returning from injury and Douglas Costa receiving a red card thus missing the game, the odds are stacked against them.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy have a chance as LAFC has yet to win a game at the DHSP and with their recent COCACAF Champions League game, it is possible that some of the players may not be well-rested. On the other hand, LAFC have not lost a single regular season match and all their players are available, making them a formidable opponent.
The match will be aired on Apple TV and FOX for free. Though it may be a tough game for LA Galaxy, they cannot be written off just yet; with all the commotion going around, their team morale might be enough to put up a fight against LAFC. All in all, this game is going to be one that shouldn't be missed.
This will be a tough one for LA GALAXY!
