The National Women's Soccer League in the U.S, has a new LA team and that's not all .

Many of you are familiar with the Defenders of the Bank Group , especially if you call yourself an LAFC fan. Well the team helped start the one and only National Women's Soccer League podcast by the title of Angel City Chicks podcast.

The girls gave us a brief interview of how they got started, who has helped them in this journey and encourage everyone to stream, for upcoming women’s soccer, chants and cheers. Since these four met their good energy hasn’t stopped, from a supporters group to a Podcast out now. This team of Pod-casters brings their laughs and good times regarding the Angelenos favorite soccer team.

“ It's been a journey and we were anxious to start, since the USA Women’s National Team (USWNT) played the World Cup but we didn’t.”

“ It's been a journey and we were anxious to start, since the USA Women’s National Team (USWNT) played the World Cup but we didn’t.” Recalled, Amanda,“ one of the Co -Host, of the Angel City Chicks podcast via phone this past Wednesday.

They support LAFC and most importantly the women in sports, Angel City being one of them, and as much as they enjoy watching LAFC perform every night, Nina Kiefer and Amanda Brooke have traveled around the world to watch the best current team in LA, to Leon, Guanajuato just to watch the CONCACAF club championships playoffs live and support the team, they bleed black and gold proudly as they take adventurous trips to watch and support the black and gold team.

We support and would like to invite all demographics to listen and share with us our journey to women’s soccer in LA.

With lots of enthusiasm and spirit for the podcast to continue, the host also added, “ We support and would like to invite all demographics to listen and share with us our journey to women’s soccer in LA.

The struggle in the past to make the team still remains unknown, or why they’ve never achieved anything in other cities around the country. The solution to all this situation is that there will be at least one -new team in LA for women by 2022’ as announced on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday morning.

Sports may be saturated in LA with too many male teams already, but somehow the, also -new Women’s Ownership, from people like Abby Wambach to Serena Williams said they were excited for this on the site. Maybe only enough for one women’s team, and without a doubt leading to more growth in women's soccer. “Not right now but maybe later on in the journey,” said Amanda positively.

“Not right now but maybe later on in the journey,”

Saying “ it’s -already complicated to have one women’s basketball team here in LA.” But if people are determined to push and support the women’s soccer league here in southern -California two teams and more will be what the supporters of the Angel City podcast are saying.
