Vela powers a 79th minute goal to give LAFC a 3rd win in a row since 2019

Despite the win, Kim Moon-Hwan stood out with his performance on Saturday July 17th 2021; showing his potential, hustling from defense to attack and even getting his first MLS assist.

On one of his outstanding performances, Moon-Hwan curled a long cross that found Vela at the 79th minute, and without hesitation, Vela chest controlled the ball then fired a canon past Real Salt Lake goalie David Ochoa, giving LAFC a 2-1 victory.

Diego Rossi opened the scoring for LAFC 10minutes into the game giving LAFC an early 1-0 lead.

Real Salt Lake responded 9 minutes later ending the first half in a 1-1 tie.

The thrill of the match was Vela's fire shot! The cross from Hwan, the control and power finish was just impeccable!

LAFC will be on the road to face Portland Timbers.
